Fees for services of musicians for the year 2006-7

 

Great Music Productions contracts the services of freelance musicians for your special occasion.    Solo musicians and special request music ensembles work

as an independent contractor and set their own fees. It is for this reason that ALL PRICES ARE SUBECT TO CHANGE. Generally, here are how prices are determined:

  • The basic fee for a musician is $150.00.  Soloists such piano, guitar, bugler, organist, etc. start at $175.00.  Some instruments, like the harp, start at $300.
  • Special request music ensembles (bands) like variety pop-rock wedding bands, mariachi music, or country band, etc., require a return-telephone /quote.
  • Ensembles lead by Gino Mezzapelle -ÒGinoÕs Great Music!Ó- are priced here in:

GinoÕs CLASSICAL MUSIC: prices for 1.5 hours.

á      GinoÕs Solo Flute and Soprano Saxophone $175.00

á      GinoÕs Harp & Flute  $400.00

á      GinoÕs String Trio $500.00

á      GinoÕs String Quarter  $650.00

ÒGinoÕs GREAT MUSIC!Ó prices for a three hour minimum.

á      GinoÕs Jazz Trio $450.00

á      GinoÕs Dance Combo $625.00 Four Musicians

A Female Vocalist can be added to any ensemble for $150.00.

                                                                                                           

EXTRA FEES:

á      Overtime rates may be negotiated with the contract at a discount rate; otherwise, the rate is usually $50.00 an hour per musician prorated by

15 minute increments, e.g. 15 minutes would cost $12.50; 30 minutes $25.00.

á      Cartage for public address system: $100.00 

This fee waved (discounted) with purchase of five or more musicians.

  • Cartage for electric piano: $25.00
  • Travel Fee is up to 20% of the contract and is for engagements out of the

greater Baltimore area to include Washington D.C. and the Eastern Shore. 

Travel Fee based on Òtravel timeÓ for each musician; usually any travel time

over 45 to 50 minutes requires a travel fee.  We ÒcarpoolÓ when possible, which

saves you money.  Travel fee is negotiable with contract and deposit.
