A 17 PIECE BIG BAND IN THE TRADITION OF THE BIG BAND ERA.

“Gino’s JAZZBAND EXPRESS!”

is an eighteen piece jazz ensemble

that performs contemporary jazz

compositions as well as charts from the “Big Band Era.” The power of the band is awesome! The band’s contemporary sheet music is challenging for the musicians & exciting for the listener to hear. There are also lots of improvised solos by some of the finest area musicians; and we always take time to play the great music you want to hear!

“Gino’s JAZZ BAND EXPRESS!” started October 1992 as an informal rehearsal band at the Moose Lodge in Glen Burnie. During the subsequent five years, the band has had two steady engagements: The Decade Lounge – BWI Holiday Inn & The ShangriLa Restaurant & Lounge – Park Plaza, Severna Park. We have performed concerts in such local theaters as: Downs Park – Pasadena / Allen Pond – Bowie Harbor Place Amphitheater - Baltimore Inner Harbor / Annapolis City Dock.
